The after-school program at Passage Point is an on-site after-school program that serves primary and secondary students living in our ethnically-diverse housing community. The program offers a supervised, caring environment where youth can connect with tutors and mentors, as well as enjoy educational and recreational activities. Our program promotes racial equity, academic achievement, and social-emotional learning.
We strive to provide our youth with consistency. Thus, we seek volunteers who are interested in supporting our after-school programming at least once per week for at least four months. Having a regular, ongoing presence in the program helps volunteers build strong relationships with our children youth.
Our program runs M/Tu/Th/F 4pm-6pm and Wednesdays 2-6pm.
