Museum Docent

Do you like talking to people? Are you passionate about history? Consider becoming a docent at the Renton History Museum! Docents give tours to the public, school groups, and other organizations that schedule visits to the museum. Tours are scheduled upon request and occur during normal museum hours (Tues.-Sat., 10-4). You don't need to know about Renton's history to be a docent- all you need is a willingness to learn and enthusiasm for sharing history with museum visitors. Extra training hours are required for docents to master the subject matter of the museum's exhibits.
