Emergency Feeding Program

Who We Are

The Emergency Feeding Program exists for one reason – to fight hunger. Our vision is that no one in King County will have to go hungry tonight… EFP is the only African American, Nonprofit emergency food resource in King County. We pack 15 varieties of balanced, culturally appropriate, diet-specific emergency food packs. Our Food Packs were designed…to meet a wide range of individual needs… Emergency Feeding Program delivers to 240 distribution partners. These partners give out our packed bags to people in need with no wait times or restrictions. Food insecurity is a complex issue. We partner with agencies that target the root causes of hunger and offer long-term resources that help people get back on their feet.

What We Do

We pack 15 varieties of balanced, culturally appropriate, diet-specific emergency food packs that we send out to our partner sites to be distributed to the communities in need. People can come into our office to receive bags also.
